John's Wreck Page

Bell
Pleased faces of Maurice and John after the recovery of the bell of the Heimdall, a wreck in 56m of the west coast of Westray.

This wreck was found by John after a local fisherman from westray (Jock Ward) reported that he had been fishing the site for lobsters for a few years but curiosity had gotten the better of him in that he wanted to know what it was.

Research by Kev Heath unearthed the possibility of it being the Tosto, previously known as the Heimdall, I think that the find confirmed all of this to all.

This is a list of wrecks that John has found/dived over the years, it is ongoing and more are being located this year, not all have been dived yet but all are definately found and available, fancy a dive on an unknown, now is the time as in a few years all will have been looked at.

HMS King Edward VII 115m 1997
HMS Pheasant 85m 1995
